Capturing the calm quiet Beauty of People and Landscapes in Ireland

I am an award winning plein air artist and oil painter based in Dublin, Ireland. I love to paint classical, elegant and timeless portraits, still lifes and the wonder of the Irish landscape and cities. I paint both studio paintings and I love to paint ‘en plein air’ from my bike, my mobile studio, when visiting the countryside.

For commissions I prefer to work from life and reference photos that I take myself so that I can capture the essence of my subject, in the most flattering and interesting expression and light for a painting.
